This is perhaps the best Aida on DVD.The production is very good as the orchestra.Domingo got in Texas his best Radames in my opinion.Freni is fantastic in a role that she did not frequent often.Wisely.Toczyska and Ghiaurov at their usual high level.Wixell is not the best Amonasro you can imagine but is correct.The two principals sing outstandingly.
