Top notch performance with all leads in fine voice - especially Carreras in one of his best roles. The sound is very good - considering it is an outdoor event, as it is in fact not Madrid but Macerata, 13th July 1975. Includes the big duet between Edgardo & Enrico at the beginning of act III. Armando Gatto, conductor.
